Welcome to Dog's World.
It's the year 2012, and already, humans are extinct. The influenze that swept across the nation killed them all off, doing the precious world a favor. Animals everywhere are fighting for dominance and food, shelter, survival. This city is no different. Four packs fight to survive, as do loners and newcomers. Food is scarce, and territory as cherished. The more to join up with packs, the better, because the fights are vicious these days. There is the Militar pack, vicious and tough, only thinking of themselves. The Brine pack, only wishing for peace and settlement. The Royal pack, high class and self-righteous. And the Tribe pack, kind and always accepting. Which pack will prevail in the end? Will the loners end up ruling? Can you as a stray survive this? Or will you fade away, forgotten and unknown, into the earth just as the humans did?
Summer has arrived! Hot days, humid nights, and constant praying for that blessed gust of air that will sometimes find it's way to you. The water is popular with dogs in these months, and prey is plentiful. Everyone seems to be out enjoying the warm weather!

Welcome to Dogs World! After a lag in activity and the site going dead, I decided to fix that little problem, and we will be officially opening on April 9th, 2011. So, to those of you reading this...if you don't know me, hello, I'm your administrator Moondog! And to those of you that do, welcome back my dear friends! This time I truly hope that DW will remain active, and that we all can enjoy roleplaying here together once again. -April 3rd, 2011.
An old theater, once used for plays and dramatical entertainment, that is now shut down. It is thick with layers of dusk and dark, providing nice shelter for dogs.
Parkinson Mall used to be a lively area, filled with shoppers and teens who hung around idly with friends. Now it stands deserted and empty, a ghost of what used to be. The escaladers no longer work, and the fountain stopped running ages ago, though water is still pooled in it.
This parking lot was once chocked full of children holding their mothers hands, beeping horns, and angry drivers. Now it's just full of old, anabdoned cars still left over from those who had once enjoyed the mall.
The junkyard! Filled with rotting food and old furniture, this place can provide both food and shelter, but it's no telling what kind of dogs hang out here.
Welcome to the Slums. This neighborhood is the lowest of the low. There are no people living here, due to the human extinction, and the houses are rundown and destroyed.
Metro Animal Shelter saw many dogs brought in when the humans were still around; some were adopted immediately, some rotted until they were euthanized, and some lucky dogs escaped. Now it stands empty, cages broken and dust coating the floors.
Towering over the Slums, the Theater, and the Junkyard is the Cathedral. The large peaks throw shadows over the land around it, and it is always visible from the city.
Running behind the Cathedral are old train tracks, once helping carry supplies and people from town to town. Now no trains run, and a few box cars are left over for shelter. But beware, it's rumored that coyotes like this shaded place.
Azul Beach is a beautiful area, the sand a soft white, the water a deep blue. When the sun sets, it is absolutely beautiful, not to mention very romantic.
This beautiful Glade is on the edge of Azul Beach, shady, a beautiful green covering everything. It's very relaxing, full of life, but easy to get lost in.
At one point near the east end of Atreyu Glade, the ground turns to mush and then to sickly green water, and the view turns quite sickly. Here is Atrie Swamp, large and stretching for quite some time.
At one of the far ends of Atreyu Glade is The Great Mountain. It stretches ominously high, it's peak seeming to meet with the sky. It's a wonderful mountain with many small caves for shelter, but beware. The mountain goats can get fiesty, the bears don't take well to intruders, and the worst of all would be stumbling upon a mountain lion.
Eau creek, normally gentle and soft, eventually runs into The Rapids, which are far from gentle. Swift and violent, if you were to get sucked in here, it would be a miracle for you to survive.
Well it's just common knowledge that rapids lead to waterfalls, right? Here would be fatal to fall from, unless you miraculously missed the jagged rocks at the bottom. At the bottom of the waterfall, the creek turns back smooth and gentle, and it's quite a gorgeous site.
Eau Creek leads all the way to Anspruch Meadow. It's a gorgeous place, filled with little bright yellow flowers, stretching for a long while in every direction.
To the South is an abandoned Airport, once home to many planes and people scattered about daily. It now houses the Brine pack, who find the Airport to be decent shelter.
